Environmental Awareness Month

World Environmental Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. Since it began in 1974, the event has grown to become a global plattform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.

Environment Day is the 'people's day' for doing something to take care of the earth. That 'something' can be local, national, or global. It can be a solo action or involve a crowd. Everyone is free to choose.


The world unites to protect and take care of the earth. The world or the environment is our home, so we must take care of it. The environment protects us and we should protect our world too.This event or activity aims to raise awareness to the worsen and still getting worst situation of our environment.

Around the world, children are showing us their strength and leadership advocating for a more sustainable world for all. Let’s build on advances and re-commit to putting children first. For every child, every right.

World Children’s Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day and is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare.


The United Nations Convention on the 'Right of the Child' (UN CRC) adopted on November 20, 1989 is the first legally binding universal treaty solely dedicated to the promotion and protection of children's right.


This activity aims to have the children a better quality and improved way of life. The children are well nourished, have healthy lives and are active learners with good quality education. The children are safe and free from violence, abuse, neglect and wxploitation. The children are actively participating in decision-making processes affecting their lives according to their evolving capacities. In general, this activity aims to make or enlighten childrens to be strong and to be the best version of their lives.

November is the Filipino Values Month by virtue of Proclamation No. 479 signed on October 7, 1994 bu then President Fidel Ramos. According to the proclamation, the celebration of the Filipino Values Month is a desirable and effective measure to create moral awakening and national consciousness on human values that are unique, genuine, and positively Filipino.

Filipino Values Month seeks to promote greater consciousness of values that are uniquely and positively Filipino — love of God and country, strong family ties, care and respect for the elders, diligence, patience, loyalty, hospitability, bayanihan, generosity, regard for personal honor and dignity.

Values are the roots of tradition that Filipino find important in their day-to-day events. They are instilled early in life, are deeply ingrained, and are resistant to change. They are developed from people's dirct experiences with ohters who are important to them, such us parents, teachers, friends, and classmates.

Through the centuries and through interactions with peoples of different cultures, Filipinos have acquired some values 'integrating me. Filipinos have them into their way of life. With theses values, Filipinos have coped with the vicissitudes of life.

Nations as ONE!

This year's United Nations theme is "Indigenous language matter for sustanable development, peace building and reconciliation". The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945 after the Second World War by 51 countries committed to maintaining international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations and promoting social progress, better living standards and human rights.

Indigenous language is a language that is native to a region and spoken by indigenous people, often reduced to the status of a minority language. The ability of indigenous language is to communicate clearly is a key function for all people. Being able to communicate effectively in an individuals first or home language connects a person to their ethnic group and helps to shape a persons' identity. If you are able to communicate well to other people, then it would be much easier to improve.
